Hi Kayelle. This truly is a process of making lemonade out of lemons. Fictional scenes adapted from life tend to have that life in them. Also there is the joy of the writing and the reliving, including when the experience was intense, even traumatic. I would love to be able to inspire non-writers to have that experience also, of the catharsis that comes with capturing a moment in words. Blessings. Alice

Be aware of your life. Don’t just endure it. I have scenes in books that were taken straight from some of the most anxiety-producing moments of my life. And some from the happiest.
